Today is the day I lay the suitcases out and see what falls into them...If I do this far enough in advance, I have a much better shot at not forgetting something that I think is really important for the trip. So things like the camera, the extra phone charger, memory cards and nightgowns - which for some reason I have a tendency to forget, I guess I'm not thinking about sleeping - are already in the bags laying on my bedroom floor.
This activity is just a pre-cursor to the detailed list...so don't get me wrong, I'm still retentive about it!
Any packing strategies? I'm always up for new ideas.
