Ironically, there are very few dark brown people in New Mexico...at least not anywhere that we went. I mean really, you'd think you'd see at least 1...but no...not even in cars on the highway. When we got to Socorro, I saw 3 African people getting in a car together. But that's it.
"Highways" are obviously a foreign concept in New Mexico as well, 2 lane roads...one in each direction...are much more prominent. Paved driveways? Whatever. Dilapidated buildings? Yep, everywhere you look.
